Band 5 is typically an entry-level position for newly qualified dietitians. Band 6 Dietitians have gained some experience and may take on more complex cases or responsibilities. Band 7 Dietitians are often considered to be in more senior or specialist roles. Band 8a, 8b, 8c dietitians have senior positions within the dietetic profession. Band 9 dietitians and above are less common and typically represent executive or director-level positions within healthcare organizations.
