Profession: Biomedical Scientist

Where are you from? Chorley, Lancashire

Current Locum position? Multi-disciplinary Biomedical Scientist

Personal achievements within the role? Being given the opportunity to train in blood transfusion, manual coagulation testing, Cobas 6000 chemistry analyser. Within 1 month in my current position I was put on the shift rota, out of hours and on-call system.

What do you enjoy about being a locum? Flexibility, working with people from different backgrounds, learning new skills.

Most memorable moment within your career? The day I passed my IBMS Registration Profile which opened the door to my career.
