Where are you from? Trained in medicine at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, trained in biochemistry at Oxford University.
Current Locum position? SHO or SpR locums in General Medicine
Personal achievements within the role? Using my experiences to write Medical Books (Short Answer Questions for Preclinical Phase Final Examinations, 2014)
What do you enjoy about being a locum? Freedom to work in a range of hospitals, freedom to experience a range of specialities and making connections useful in my academic career in medical education.
Most memorable moment within your career?
i) Being thanked by a grateful patient, to which my response was “You don’t have to thank me ma’am I was just doing my job...”
ii) Scholarship (Exhibition) to Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford.
If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 items would you take?
1.) My iPad and the national electric grid and a wi-‐‑fi network.
2.) Yasai cha han (Wagamama’s).
3.) Swimming goggles.
