We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Consultant in Dermatology to join a progressive NHS trust in the North West England area.

£75,249 to £101,451 per annum
Permanent Position
10 sessions per week

As a newly formed Dermatology partnership, the post holder will work with dermatology consultant colleagues across the three trusts to provide a comprehensive dermatology service which is responsive to both acute and community needs, supporting service development and innovation.

The successful Consultant Dermatologist will help to build a versatile dermatology service that is professionally satisfying, as well as highly valued by patients and GPs.

Each trust in the collaboration provides a full range of dermatology services. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop their interests and work flexibly the job plan.

Our client is looking for a forward thinking Consultant Dermatologist to take on the role as clinical lead; input ideas, enhance and promote the Dermatology Service within the Trust. They are looking for an open-minded, enthusiastic and dedicated candidate who can provide direction and harness the talents of existing staff through example, by influence and by persuasion.

Essential requirements;
-MRCP or equivalent
-On Specialist Register for Dermatology or CCST within 6 months of interview
-Wide clinical experience in Dermatology
-Experience and trained in Dermatology minor procedures
-Experience and interest in teaching
-Relevant experience in organisation and undertaking of Audit
-Research and evidence base to practice
-Appreciation and understanding of the role of management
-Ability to integrate within, motivate and provide professional leadership in multidisciplinary team
-Excellent communication and leadership skills
-Ability to lead consultant colleagues by example, personal credibility, influence and persuasion
