As you know The Placement Group chose not to send Christmas cards in December, instead we felt the production costs would be better spent as a gift to charity.
With so many to choose from, we decided to split the £500 two ways between Great Ormond Street Hospital and Tomorrows Cystic Fibrosis. The donation of £250 was kindly received by both parties.
As a company, The Placement Group are always trying to support charity efforts when and where we can. We feel Great Ormond Street do a fantastic job to help save children’s lives, develop new treatments and support the remarkable patients and families under their care, so we hope we can continue to raise money and support GOSHC throughout 2012
Tomorrows were also very grateful for the donation, and as an organisation founded by a close personal friend of Steve Porter’s, our Managing Director, has since become a Charity of Choice to the Placement Group of companies.
Tomorrows raises money to fund specific needs and projects related to Cystic Fibrosis and are committed to help both the research funding needs and to help improve the lives of those living with the genetic disease. - Tomorrows continue to organise fundraising auctions, golf days, marathon’s and walks in a bid to raise funds for their work, currently with 40 runners being sponsored to don the 13.1 mile Royal Parks Half Marathon in October.
Members of The Placement Group are more than happy to offer our support and donations to well deserving charities, however big or small!
