We were delighted to watch two of our very own budding athletes triumph at the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 21st April 2013.
Michael and Lauren, along with 35,000 runners, held a 30 second silence at the start line, as a tribute to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, which killed three people just 7 days prior. Some runners wore black ribbons, while others made bolder statements of remembrance.
In the wake of the Boston Marathon tragedy, runners, organisers and supporters showed a united front in London and lined the streets to celebrate the race and show support for all those taking part!
We are very pleased to announce that TPG’s contracts coordinator Michael Crossley finished in 4.49hrs and recruitment consultant Lauren Bradshaw, although suffering from a knee injury, came in at a very respectable 6.30hrs.
Once again, we would like to congratulate our team members, for their fantastic efforts and show of determination. They raised a fantastic amount of money for some great charities!
Well done Mike and Lauren!
We know a number of our locum Podiatrists volunteered at the London Marathon and would like to thank them for their on-going support. Search Mediplacements for the latest Podiatry jobs.
