Recruitment Consultants Althea Nelson, Hayley Criddle and Nicola Sherman took part in the Reading Half Marathon last Sunday (20th March) and managed to raise over 120% of their target, totalling a fantastic £1,220 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

The Physio ladies have been following a vigorous training scheme and taking the office stairs for the past few months to prepare for the 13.1 mile run through the vibrant university town of Reading. - So are extremely proud that their efforts paid off!

Setting off from the Majestic Stadium, runners in there masses took to the streets of Reading in fancy dress and lycra suits, all the way being cheered on by high spirited supporters and organisers. Recruitment consultant Althea Nelson was first to cross the finish line, completing the race in an impressive 2.05hrs!

A trust representative from GOSHCC praised our team’s efforts, commenting…
“We wanted to say a big thank you and so do the many patients and parents who benefit from your support.”
