Mediplacements are looking to recruit a Band 6 Dispensary Pharmacist for a locum position working in a NHS Hospital in London.

The pay for this position is £20-£26 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Desirable criteria:
Experience using Cerner EPR
Experience working in NHS outpatient pharmacy

Duties:
Screening prescription
Accuracy checking
Counselling patients
Answering phone calls and queries
Supporting outpatient workflow to ensure patient waiting time KPIs are met

As a dispensary pharmacist, you will be responsible for managing the dispensary and ensuring that prescriptions are correctly prepared and labelled for outpatient use, as well as providing pharmaceutical care and medication management to patients admitted to hospital wards.

Successful candidates must hold an MPharm degree, be GPHC registered and have experience working as a dispensary pharmacist.
