Mediplacements are currently seeking an experienced Functional Medical Practitioner to join our client's team in London.

This is a full time, permanent role, the pay will be roughly £50,000 per annum.

Role Description
We are looking for a senior medical practitioner (senior nurse, physician associate,
nurse prescriber). To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in
functional medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret
complex data.

Key Responsibilities
o Health Strategy: Develop and implement personalised health optimisation plans for clients, including interpreting advanced lab tests and creating supplement protocols.
o Teamwork: Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and effective communication with clients.
o Functional Testing/Screens: Conduct and interpret advanced functional tests, including genetic and epigenetic analysis, microbiome analysis, food sensitivity tests, RMR and VO2max.
o Clinical care and assessment: Assess client's health and wellness history, current status and goals to build a robust and personalised wellness/longevity plan. (based on company protocols)
o Monitoring: Carry out regular follow ups and check ins to monitor and tailor their plan with changing wellness goals and needs.
o Prescribing: Prescribe and tailor supplements and in line with guidelines, best practices and individual health goals.
o Concierge Service: Triage client with appropriate referral into healthcare and allied practitioners where applicable.

Required
o IV Infusion Delivery: Administer IV vitamin and supplement drips, customise treatment plans at the hotel based on individual health goals. You will ensure correct dosages and formulations are selected to optimise outcomes while minimising risks. You will monitor treatment plans and adjust prescriptions as needed to ensure continued efficacy and safety. Desirable
o First Aid Administration: Be the first point of contact for clients, identifying their
condition, providing first aid and assessing whether additional medical care is required.

Qualifications and Knowledge
* Registered healthcare professional (nurse) with a valid Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP) credential.
* Significant in-depth knowledge of pharmacology and clinical governance related to vitamin infusions and weight loss medications.
* Preferable minimum 8 years of experience (desirable)

Skills
* Proven leadership abilities with exceptional consultation and communication skills.
* Knowledge of the longevity/functional medicine/healthspan sector (preferable)
* Experience in team management and administrative functions within a healthcare setting.
* Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Experience working with high-net-worth clientele is preferred.
* Preferably hold a valid UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle as this role involves working across the Community.
* Valid enhanced DBS
* Minimum valid BLS certificate (can be supported by company)
