Once approved, the candidate will act as the superintendent Pharmacist, managing the Pharmacy Department.

Job Summary:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing and managing the process of obtaining GPhC registration. The Pharmacy Manager will be heavily involved initially with setting up the new pharmacy, ensuring it meets GPC standards. Ideal candidates will have experience managing a pharmacy, have a good understanding of compliance and the regulatory standards and have excellent team management skills. Experience operating a pharmacy the private sector would be desirable.

Responsibilities for Pharmacy Manager
*Oversees and manages operations of the pharmacy department
*Make sure that customers are prescribed the correct medicine
*Managing pharmacy staff
*Managing inspections
*Ensures compliance with regulations (GPhC, GDP, GMP) and guidelines relating to regulatory and professional bodies.
*Communicate effectively with patients/consultants relating to queries and issues
*Ensure staff provide high standards of customer service to patients and consultants
*Assist in the onboarding process of new hires
*Train staff in prioritising customer orders and delivering them efficiently
*Liaison with wholesalers to obtain supplies
*Carry out stock checks
