Mediplacements are looking for an experienced band 7 Wards Pharmacist to work at a hospital in London.

The pay for this position is £25-£32 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an on-going duration.

* Be responsible for the clinical pharmacy service provided to a sub-speciality within the Emergency and Integrated Care Division. ( Post 1)
* Review prescriptions for accuracy and legality and identify actual and potential problems.
* Clinically screen and supply of medicines suitable for use as an inpatient and appropriately labelled for discharge.
* Monitor and review therapeutic use of medicines
* Ensure the effective outcomes of treatment with medicines.
* Monitor patients for potential and actual adverse effects of their medicines.
* Take steps to ensure patients understand the purpose of their medicines and deal with any practical issues that may prevent the optimal use of their medicines.
* Support the planning of patient discharge with respect to medication.
* Ensure safe, clinically effective, and cost-effective use of medicines.
* Demonstrate professional accountability to patients.
* Support the provision of an efficient, safe, and legal dispensing service in the Dispensary as required
* Promote professional standards in the dispensary by acting as a role model to other pharmacists and technicians
