Mediplacements is currently looking to recruit an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Haematology for a locum vacancy in Ipswich.

The pay for this position ranges from £23-£25 per hour. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible working full-time.

The hours for this role will initially be 9am - 5pm then night shifts will be 9pm - 8am

The candidate will be responsible for:
-Performing and interpreting a range of laboratory tests on blood and other body fluid
-Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment
-Record keeping and quality control
-Providing results and advice to medical staff
-Participating in continuing education and training

The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered and fully competent in Haematology, Coagulation and Blood Transfusion, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
