Mediplacements are currently seeking a Band 6 Podiatrist for a general care permanent role in Wiltshire.

The pay for this position is £35,000-£45,000, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

To provide the highest possible standard of Podiatry care to Clinic patients, in alignment with company policy and national professional guidelines. Consistently striving to make our clinic the first choice provider podiatry care..

* Clean your treatment room thoroughly before every appointment as per the hygiene process in the clinic procedure pack

* See all patients on time for their appointments.

* Greet all patients professionally and by name at each appointment. New patients to be greeted by name, be introduced to their therapist and to be given a firm hand shake.

* Assess each patient thoroughly to identify their ailment

* Develop intricate clinical skills requiring prolonged concentration in; Wound care and ulcer debridement, Enucleation and debridement of fibrous and neuro-vascular lesions including corn and callous and other dermatological conditions.

* Neurological and vascular assessment using appropriate diagnostic equipment Local analgesia

* Minor invasive and sterile surgical procedures

* Use of materials to redistribute foot pressures



The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have experience in providing general routine care.
