Mediplacements are seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced band 6 Permanent Audiologist to work with one of our clients based in Plymouth.

This is a full-time Permanent position due to start as soon as possible with a pay rate of £38891 - £42942 per annum depending on experience and must be HCPC registered.

JOB DUTIES:
1. Working to the Company's Standard Operating Procedures at all times as contained in the SOP (GA) file
2. Supervision and training of trainees
3. Patient management and preparation for procedures
4. Performance of Pure Tone Audiometry.
5. Performance of Bone Conduction Audiometry.
6. Performance of Tympanometry and Acoustic Reflex.
7. Undertaking ear mould impressions.
8. Undertaking hearing aid and mould fittings.
9. Ensuring a high standard of patient/client care including the cleanliness and stocking of clinical areas
10. Domiciliary visits as required.
11. Dispensing Aids.
12. Use of the Patient management system (Patient Source) and Auditbase
13. Creation of procedural algorithms and draft procedural guidelines
14. General administrative procedures as necessary
15. Maintain and update professional knowledge including new procedures and techniques
16. Any other duties commensurate to the level of the post
