Mediplacements is looking for a skilled and experienced band 8a Histology manager to fill an ongoing locum role in our client's laboratory based in Northampton.

This position is due to start as soon as possible with a pay rate of £33-£35 per hour.

Histology Manager - Advanced Practitioner in Dissection
9am - 5:30pm
Monday - Friday

The specific aim of the Advanced Practitioner role is to work alongside Consultant Pathologist and to dissect Cat B - E specimens independently and to also assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the dissection room at the hub laboratory. To be responsible for providing specialist knowledge, alongside technical expertise to aid in the training and development of registrars and technical staff. Candidates must hold the IBMS Diploma of Expert Practice in Specimen Dissection and should be working towards completion of IBMS Advanced Specialist Diploma in Specimen Dissection within 12 months.
